holiday blues

I'm sooooooooooooooooooooo BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRREEEEDDDDDDDD!!!!!! 9 more daysss!! Someone just shooooooooooooooot me. sigh. I think I'm homesick. I miss my friends. I miss movies. I miss the tons of shops at castle towers. I miss my bed. I miss my pillow. I miss my precious cd/radio player (It's never failed me once for the past 5 years?). I miss my dvd player. I miss you. haha oh my.. that's random!

Anywaysss... u get my drift. I guess I've got 3 major assignments to kill my boredom, or rather it might just kill me first instead! Sigh. So much for my 2 weeks break. URGH. So here I am trying to do some research everyday at the hotel 'business centre', (sounds so posh!haha. and it's really nice I have to say. and its deserted too! nice!) while everyone else is busy exploring Cairns. WEll, not that I want to explore Cairns anyways... haha.

SO! Let's see what's gona keep me busy for the next week or so:

1) Pysch full report (1200 words + abstract)
2) Sociology research essay (1500 words)
3) Economics essay (2000 words)

God help meeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!! Urghhh... Ok. I'm gona start on those right about nowww!!

Sperrrring Time!

Yes! It's spring time! Out came the cute dresses, mini shorts (esp denim! They're increasing in quanitity in most shops!) and funky tops of bright colours!! oh oh! And flowers too! hee. I received 3 flowers all up! 2 yellow and 1 red. I feel loved! Spring is awesome!! hee. And no, it was not given to me by any guy friends I knew. haha. Unfortunately, this jolly mood was tarnished today by the sudden outburst of STRONG chilly winds (SO did not help esp when I was driving. Thought my car was gona flip over) and rain and thunder and lightning and hailstorm. Urgh.

Anyways, 2 nights ago, I hung out with the hillsong gurlies and guys at max brenner for supper! Food was pretty pricey esp with the petite portion it came in. But I have to admit it was delicious! haha. I had warm belgium waffles and ice cream! YuMMMmm! Yes yes I know... chocolate again??!! Seriously, I was never a big fan of sweet food esp chocolates! Oh wells, maybe it's because it's spring time and I'm in need of some sweetness! hahaa..

Enjoy the pics! Don't drool now...
Presenting to you flower no.1 on the table. (Pls ignore the tiny face of the small girl in the background. I don't know who that is. So don't bother to think too hard.haha!)

This is flower no.2! It came with a card that had a bible verse written on it! Awww...!! The last flower was received at hillsongwomen today! Too lazy to take a pic of it. Anyways, back to more studying now. :( Embrace the cold, everyone!...before those fat 'ol annoying flies make their appearances yet again.

I need you baby
if it's quite alright
I need you baby
to warm a lonely night

a day at 'lollipop'

My saturday mornings are usually spent sleeping in til bout 11ish, and head out for lunch and shopping after. However, for the very first time, I woke up EARLY to spend time with my gorgeous nephew and niece at the 'lollipop' place! And that place was packed with kids goin crazy on the jumping castles, huge floating slides, playground, swirling round in the teacups (u know that ride u find at lunar park that gets u real giddy? this was they tiny version of it). And! they came over to our house and played a lil while more and then, we went out for dinner. It was a full-on whole day affair! So I guess I got to experience just a tiny insight into the lifestyle of a mother. And man! I was totally flat out after!

Anyways, presenting to you my nephew.... Keoni!! He is only a year old and he's already attracted to the camera. When I focus my camera on him, he'll come towards me and give me the most attractive, stunned expression that you can never find in any other kid! Then, he waits for the flash to go off before he runs away. hahaaa.. Keep up the good work, kiddo! You're a natural poser.

and my gorgeous niece, Myah! She came running to me during dinner and told me if I liked her dress. She said it's a low-cut bare-back dress!! haha ain't she cute?! And everytime I take my camera out, she'll run to me and pose for me! I don't even need to ask her! haha. She's learning well from me! hahahahaa...

Yes... they are gorgeous! Nice to hold and play but once cranky, considered disastrous!!!! So lesson of the day: Don't have kids for it requires TONS AND STACKS AND HEAPS of responsibility and commitment and attention. Posted by Picasa
