Plans for the hols....

Gosh. I know I haven't put up a post in yonks! Well... I'm lazy alright! ha. Hmm. let me see. 3 weeks hols. I just went for a party on Monday. Alissa's 18th!! I really enjoyed myself. It was good fun... esp with the Chardonnay and Maison. ha. If there were cowboy shots.. I think Emma and I would so get wasted! hee. Oh well. I can't believe Donica and Steph only drank 2 sips of their full glass of wine!!!!! goodness.....!! What a waste! It's nice wine, guys! tut tut. haha. And.. Emma thought her hair caught fire cuz I screamed when she knocked the candle stand! haha. That moment was a classic! Everyone was soooo pretty and formal on that night too! That was no doubt one of the better parties I've been to... although there was no dancing. I know... a party with no dancing and I actually enjoyed it. Shocking. heh.
Random thought: That party seem like one of those posh business function dinners. It was just the stuff we did that reminded me of that. haha. Ambience: 10/10! Very innovative.

Anyway... I'm goin to another party on thursday! woot! Oh. Mum's left Sydney this morning and will only return 35 days later. I feel kinda upset cuz I reckon 35 days is a long time. :( Oh well. I think my Dad and I needs time out from my mum anyway.

OK. I gotta start packing my bag for winter camp on friday. (That would take me at least a couple of days! hee.) Then, next week. 5 days at winter camp. I'm looking forward to Daniel's whinging (normal whinging usually sucks. but this is totally diff. It amuses me. haha.) and CJ's walkie talkie!! The week after, watching at least 2 movies with friends and shopping. AND THE 2 ASSESSMENTS ARE DUE FIRST DAY BACK AT SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! G.R.E.A.T. Stupid teachers always seem to torture me. They just seem to enjoy stealing my social life away from me! pfft. Oh talking about that... this is what I received in the mail not too long ago...

"Dear Lena,
It was pleasing to read the many positive comments made by your teachers in your report. You are to be commended for the way you have applied yourself to your studies....."

Pffffffffffffft. What is that. Thanks for the great encouragement but it seems like she is obviously lying because I haven't exactly received many positive comments. Just a few. Bet the school is trying to use this "encouragement" to cover up for the countless sins they've committed! E.g Threatening us to buy a jersey (they call it a jersey when we're not allowed to put our name and number on the back!) that looks like a stupid jumper. Guess what. I refuse to pay up. The school has profitted from us by like a kazillion times. So...they can come and fight me. I'm waiting. And if they dare charge it to my account, I'm tellin my Dad not to include that in the cheque.

haha.... I'm so mean. Oh well. Anyway, gonna get on with my assessments. Later guys!

Athletics Carnival? EwWwW!

hee. Yes yes, once again, the athletics carnival is here again! Do I care? No way! haha. I rather sit back, relax, look at the clear blue sky, talk about girly stuff during my 1hour lunchtime, than run the 800m event!! But of course, Jess Knight, Emma, Alissa thought it would be fun to run together. So they went to try out for it. Alissa and Emma was running... Jess was lagging behind, and apparently, Emma kept on pushing Jess to continue running with them although she told them she just can't take it anymore. What happens next? She ends up in sick bay. Tut tut. Why would anyone go through that torture?! Sighh. poor girl... I reckon if I was her, I would have just walked off the track and finish off my lunch! heh. How can anyone forsake their lunch just to run 800m?! hee. Definitely not muah!

Anyways... whinging time. OK..... so... another legal assessment. Due first week back after hols. Why should I spend my time researching now?! I've got other assessments to prepare for!!! HULLOO?! But no! Teachers just couldn't care less. So, I've got to think of a country to research on the topic of World Order, the type of conflict etc. How do I know which country I want to do?! I need to research on various countries, compare and see which one gives me the most information. SIGHHHHHH. Somalia, Burma, Tibet, Rwanda, Afganistan, Iraq, Gulf War, Sri Lanka, Colombia, Bosnia, Kashmir, Zimbabwe......... AHHHHHHHH!!!!! (Wished Singapore had like a international/intranational major conflict! Then I can research on that! heh) Which one?! Im gonna go nuts soon. This is killing me! And I gotta worry about 3unit maths tomorrow. Maths and World Order... What a perfect combination!

Ok..... if you're not a girl, you should not read the next part. If I were you, I listen to that advice. haha.

Hamish: My chest hurts.
Amy: You got your period?
Lena: What kinda question is that?! He's a guy for cryin out loud.
Amy: haha. I'm sure he's alright with it....So when did it first came?
Hamish: haha... I'm a bit of a late bloomer. Mine came in Year 11.
Amy: So are you a tampon or pad person?
Hamish: I'm more of a pad WO-man.
Amy: I'm more of a tampon person.
Hamish: Oh that's right. Those silk ones look cool.
Lena: How did you know that? You obviously remember way too many commercials. Or, have you actually bought some to try?
Hamish: Nah. Commercials....................Why are you looking down at my pants weirdly? Do you have a problem with me having my period, Amy?!

hahahahaaaaa......... !!!!!!! I shall not continue further. I think it's way enough. heh. That's our conversation during economics lesson in the library today. Weeeeeee!

Many questions but do i have the answer?

1) Why is is that I feel I hardly get anything outa the sermons at Digjc? They're just so.... dry... and confusing at times. I have no idea what they're getting at. At Wildlife, it's straight to the point, no messing around. E.g You don't do this and you do that cuz in the Bible it states... and etc. It makes me question where I'm at spriritually and how I can apply that to my daily life. Often, the minor details are the ones that we usually overlook and it's good to have that gentle reminder 24/7. Innit? I hate comparing. Sigh.

2) Why did I come to Sydney in Year 10? Why did my parents go through all that freaking trouble and then, decide they might want to move back anyway?! Why didn't I just move here a year later and go through that metriculation thing for a year and then, to uni? That way, I can just live in a hostel or something and my parents can enjoy their life in Singapore. Instead of them having to tell me everyday, "Love, if you wanna continue living here, it's gonna be real difficult. You gotta be so much more independent cuz you can't hire a maid here. It's too exp." or it would be "IF (inserts any issue she can think of)..... you can't live here." She always end of by saying, "You better think twice of living here." Gee. Thanks. But I think I do not need any sort of psycho-therapy?

3) Why don't my brother and Alaine just move outa the house? All she does is put me down... and I don't like that. It happens all the time and I get really upset. Can't she say something nice and encouraging for once?! And the stuff she says sometimes, its so hurtful and personal. Why?

God.... only You have the answers to all my questions. the real answers. It is through situations like these that I become a stronger person. I pray you give me wisdom and courage to deal with it. You are my strength and comforter. In all that I do, I strive to walk closer to You daily.

Stress to the max!

Ok... the mouse is dead. It got caught in the mouse trap. I had no idea that a mouse trap could be so deadly! haha. I was at Wildlife when the mouse was got caught in it and guess who saw and heard it! My brother of course! Apparently, he heard the mouse squeaking in a "distressful tone". He went to check it out and saw it dead already in the mouse trap. Unfortunately, he's abit of a wuss so he did not dare clear the mess. I came back. Saw that the springy part of the mouse trap caught the mouse's neck and its head seemed to arch backwards. (my descriptive imagery is IMPRESSIVE, eh? haha.) It looked pretty pathetic. Poor thing. Together with that very long tail that it had, oh gosh, it made me sick. Thank goodness for my dad! Or else, I reckon the rat would be left to decay in the mouse trap!

Why is it that when I thought all the assessments are over for this term, that there are 7 more cramped into the last 3 weeks?! I've just completed all of the assessments for each subject and now, here comes MORE! oh great. Feels like deja vu but not! Ok.... that previous sentence didn't make much sens, did it? Oh well. Pfft. I just can't wait for winter church camp now. heee. 5 days of quality time with God, church friends... and um, revision work for trials. What a balance of everything! But I highly doubt I can concentrate studying during the free time, although I would take the effort in bringing 2-3 HEAVY textbooks along. Just think about it, you look out the window and you see others playing and doin fun stuff.. how in the world can ANYONE focus on studying????!!! Well... definitely not me! haha. But I reckon with Jono there, I'm so gonna get nagged at 24/7 to study!

Oh! And in 3 weeks time, which is the start of hols for me, my mum is goin back to Singapore. No excuse for shopping cuz mum's not with me. Boo. :( She's gonna enjoy all the good food and she gets to go to Grace Church camp and... She gets to see my church friends and you too, joey! But guess what! I highly doubt she can recognise you anyway! How weird. While I... am not even sure if I can go back at all because she said airfare is really exp. sigh. Anyway, that doesn't really matter cuz I've got HSC to worry about for now. So back to assessments.............
