In purrrfect timing

Alrighty everyone! hope all of ya had a great christmas cuz mine was pretty good. Church was packed surprisingly! cuz I thought everyone would be overseas celebrating christmas JUST LIKE WHAT MY FRIENDS ARE DOING RIGHT NOW. haha. But I figured just as many who came from Singapore/Malaysia here to Sydney to celebrate christmas. Another cool service. Then, we held a party just 2 nights before and went to another last night.

The party that we held, I was busy running errands which included wiping dishes for half an hour. But all was good. The rendition of Silver Bells that Sunny wanted me to play was tough, considering I only had just right about 6 hours to get it right. Trust me, I almost wanted to tear the score apart. But it was a beautiful arrangement no doubt about that. Wished I had more time to practice than I could fully enjoy what I was playing, instead of stressing bout it and attempting to memorise the notes! haha. A great night nonetheless- Heaps of carol singing and games organised by my mum's friends, unforgettable comments made by my mum's friends and James (my tuition teacher's son) right in my face. Classic! ha. Did I say the old people got drunk again? and boy, they honestly think of the weirdest thing to do to amuse themselves.

The party I went to, I only knew one of em. But at the end of that long night... man... I laughed and talked so much along with the others. What a hillarious, nonsensical yet sometimes a clever and satirical conversation. Loved it! hahahahaa. The company was great. Guess it's because their age ranged between 18-28ish or 30. I love hangin out with older and mature people. Not saying I dislike younger ones! :) I love hangin out with younger ones cuz I have the excuse of going psycho! haha. And it's nice to be able to listen and to simply give them support and advice(if they trust my advice that is! hahaha.) But yeah, I guess I get intrigued by a conversation with older people cuz they simply have done and gone through and encountered stuff that I would probably am gona go through too. So why not hear their thoughts and opinion eh? That's just how I personally feel. You don't have to agree with me honestly! I'll just hire a hitman. ahahahha. jk!!

Oh my goodness. I realised I haven't got to my point yet! Ok... I am definitely arriving BY MYSELF in Singapore on 16th january at 345am! So um, any kind soul who would like to come find me there?! hahahaha. Don't worry. No offence taken if you're not there then. I fully understand. Unless your a party animal and u sleep at 5am then 345am is definitely a perfect timing for you to come find me at the airport! And I'll most probably depart Singapore on 9th feb.

OH! and finally..............
1) Ryan finishes work on the 16th jan. Yay! We can hang out yet again. sunday lunch? or um... holland village? hahaha. Talk about Perfect Timing.
2) Jono arrives in Singapore on the 17th jan! Perfect Timing. oh yeahhh! Hang time dude!... with or without your brothers is honestly fine with me for max. 1 hour. hahaha. jk.
3) Kim will be in Singapore for 2 days I think and she said she'll be there around the 20ish of January. Wow. What a coincidence esp when she's only there for 2 days and yet, I will be there to catch her! wooot! Another Perfect Timing!
4) Kevin will be in Singapore for bout a week starting the 20th January! HONESTLY!!! What is this?! Everyone's followin in my footsteps! haha. Perfect Timing!
5) Huiyi and Yvonne are on long holidays after their A levels! yayyyy! That would mean I get to hang out with them so much more! That's what I'm talkin about! Perfect Timing!
6) Last but not least. I'll get to spend time with him only after the 20th. But better than nothing. Patience is a virtue. :) Can't wait! So it's still somewhat Perfect Timing.

BoRrRriiiiing!

Ok... before u decide reading this entry. I thought I should warn you first. Today's entry sees the whinge-0-meter at a maximum level of infinity. (btw, i'm still at Cairns and I'm at this stupid internet place which only operates on fan! weather outside: a good 34 degrees with humidity at its peak i reckonn!!!)

Oh my goodness! How many times have i said the word "boring" for the past one and a half weeks? COUNTLESS! I honestly don't understand how ANYONE would live in Cairns for more than a week!HONESTLY! There is NOTHING to do here. Well... except for the ONE AND ONLY Cairns Central Shopping Centre. I go there EVERYDAY cuz there is nothing else to do! SO! I can basically tell you all the shops there are with my eyes totally shut! Well, I guess Cairns has only one thing to offer- Great Barrier Reef. And because sea creatures scare me e.g sharks and jellyfishes. (Do u know I've heard too many shark attacks on local news to deadly jellyfish stings to sea crocodiles!! I know... u must be thinkin... sea crocodiles?! WHAT THE?! But there are heaps. Just last week, one came on shore and chased a man who was walkin his dog on the beach. GOOD ONE) I should have taken a picture of the sign at every single beach located on Palm Cove which shows a picture of a crocodile ( it looked cute to me) and next to it, a do-not-swim sign. Farout! It's a beach and you're not allowed to SWIM?!

Well, that aside... I have more to say. Actually... whinge. Ok... first I have to say I've spent quite abit on shopping here. Though shopping here can NEVER outwin any shops in sydney, (mostly in terms of its quantity and variety of the clothes they offer and the shops here are pretty small in size. The Supre store they have here is 1/3 the size of the one in sydney city's store) I have to admit I still managed to spend quite abit. My wallet keeps on runnin outa cash, then I turn to my card... then I turn to my dad and he puts in more money into the bank!! YAYYYY! hee hee. :)

Somethin about the Korean/Japanese people here just intrigues me. Notice I didn't say Korean AND Japanese because I honestly can't tell if a person looks korean or jap. They look the same to me. BUT!!! That doesn't mean it's THAT DIFFICULT to figure out that I am NOT one of em! Do I honestly look like a korean/japanese AT ALL?! haha. hillarious. So far, I've noticed three things.

1) There are many koreans/japanese who come here on a holiday. (WHY HERE?! When they are TERRIBLY afraid of the sun! Trust me. I've seen the measures they go to, to prevent themselves from the slightest sunlight! W.E.I.R.D)

2) There are heaps of koreans/japanese who owns a shop here in Cairns. (They are mainly catered for tourists. DUH.)

3) WHY IS IT THAT EVERYTIME I ENTER A KOREAN/JAPANESE -OWNED SHOP, THEY WOULD WALK UP TO ME AND START RAMBLING OFF IN KOREAN/JAPANESE FOR A MINUTE OR EVEN TWO?! AND WHEN I FINALLY HAVE THE CHANCE TO TELL THEM I DO NOT SPEAK THEIR LANGUAGE... then they start apologizing profusely in half english, half korean/jap. hahahahhaha. ahhhhh they make my day, i tell ya!

Sighhh... conclusion of the day: CARINS IS JUST WAY TOO BORING.

AND AND AND.... I can't believe this. My mum has finally allowed me to fly back to Singapore by myself. She better not change her mind or else I'll cry and refuse to study in uni? haha. That would be an extremely useful weapon tool I could use against my mum eh! HA. So now... I just have to find and book for the cheapest flight into Singapore and chicken rice and fishballs and old chang kee and yong tau foo here I comeeeeee!!! WOOOOOOOOT! OH! Cj and Eunice!!!! Come find me in Singapore and we can all hang out together? hee hee. Ok... Too lazy to type some more. Later lazy peeps on hols! That includes me! OH YEAHHH.

p.s A hot korean/japanese guy is just sitting next to me....oooooooooooo! HAHAHHA.
